A group of FCA employees have launched and developed the new Know & Go mobile application, which will help you get to know your vehicle better. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX will be the very first FCA model to work with this app.

An overview of the application
FCA employees initially submitted the idea for the Know & Go mobile app in June during the inaugural Pitch Night program. Out of over 500 ideas submitted, 14 were chosen as the best ideas. The employees presented the best ideas to the judges, who then chose the app as the winner for its feasibility and originality.
The Know & Go mobile application will use your smartphone’s camera and augmented reality to inform you about the various features of your vehicle. To use the app, all you need to do is point your camera at a component in the vehicle. The application will then provide the name and description of the part.
The app not only includes augmented reality feature discovery, but also push notifications of undiscovered features, auto component discovery, feature-specific user manual pages, component overviews, and how-to videos. It will first be available for the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX and later work with other FCA vehicles.
“With all of the content in the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, the Know & Go mobile app highlights the many new features and capabilities our customers will benefit from in a creative, exciting and engaging way,” said Mimi Nguyen, Program Manager Propulsion Systems, Product Development – FCA and co-creator of Know & Go.
